Reflection
What is true freedom?
It is the freedom that consistently leads us to eternal life.
Godly restrictions may seem to be constraining our freedom, but it ultimately leads to eternal life; whereas the so-called liberal free choices offered by the world will lead to bondages causing eternal condemnation.
The difference is obedience to the Holy Spirit. For whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life (Galatians 6:8). Obedience to the Holy Spirt is true freedom.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we thank You for Your Holy Spirit for our daily walk in life. Thank You, dear Holy Spirit for guiding us into all the truth, and we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. Help us to be more intimate with You, Lord, and to obey Your Holy Spirit at all times. In Jesus’ name.
